DJ AKIL, official DJ of HUPERKUT & BREAKFLOW RECORDS (PARIS/NEW YORK), GOBLIN MUSIC (U.S.A-N.Y.C), LFBTV (Live From Brooklyn TV, U.S.A-N.Y.C), BOOMBOX BULLIES (U.S.A-NYC), SALIF (FRANCE-PARIS), AMARA and PRINCESS ANIES (FRANCE-PARIS) which it has accompanied for already several years on scene through France and the foreigner, present in the design of their albums.

 

With the turntables since 1993, Membre of the collective of DJ’ S HUPERKUT CREW creates in 1999.Dj, Beatmaker, Sound Designer (TV/Short, movie, film).Its influences and its musical universe: HIP HOP, REAGGAE/RAGGA DANCE HALL, SOUL, FUNK, JAZZ…

 

Dj Akil developed its culture hip-hop through its experiment personnel and professional but also while working during 10 years in largest Parisian record dealer specialized in this field (Sound Records).

 

It has its credit of many project of mixtapes like several collaborations on various albums and maxis/singles (Take a look @ : "Music & Store" into the menu).

 

Akil work with multiple artists American or collectives of reputations such as : Wu Tang Clan, Sean Price, Afu-ra, Cella Dwellas, Bootcamp Click, Conflict, Ellementt, Boomboxbullies, Starvin B, Otomatik. Spit Gemz, Tash (Alkaholiks), Cappadonna, Dro Pesci, Tragedy Khadafy, Davey Dex, The Beatnuts, Royal Flush, Kool G Rap, Necro  And French such as NTM, 4 My People, Salif, Saïn Supa Crew, Mafia K’ 1Fry, Princess Anies, Amara, JL (Mic-Pro), Doudou Masta, Nubi, Gueule D'Ange, Brasco, Menage à 3, Tepa, AKI the Machine, Bastos, ATK, Eklips (the Remedy), Scred Connexion, co. Strausz and a close cooperation with artists of the TimeBomb label.

 

This artist with more than 1000 events to his credit, it mixes and mixed in many and events showcases, tours, halls of the capital like Zenith, Bercy, le Parc des Princes, le Batofar (Open-Mic 12inch All Star), les Coulisses, le Gibus Club, le Man Ray, Nouveau Casino, Mama Shelter, le Glaz’Art, la Flèche d’Or, le Rex, le Tryptik, le Divan du Monde, le Bataclan, l’Elysée Mont Martre, la Cigale, le Cabaret Sauvage…

 

As abroad as with the U.S.A (where it resides), in Switzerland, in Germany, in Belgium, in Cameroun, in Morocco, in Gabon, in Spain and Ibiza.

 

DJ Akil took part in the MixMove living room in 2000 for the Stanton mark and the Bronx Science labels and AV8 records. it mixed with dimensioned of much Dj’ S such as Deenasty, Cut killer, Crazy B, Pone, Poska , Nels…

 

You already could listen to dj Akil in multiple radio transmissions such as FPP (106.3 FM), Génération 88.2, Live From Brooklyn TV and frequently in the emission Hip-Hop Not-Stop (FM Valley), of DJ Nels and DJ Mars of the mythical label Time Bomb all jeudis of 20:00 to 22:00 And now one can hear it on the official  radio operator Web of the label Huperkut : HuperKut Radio ( http://www.huperkut.com/radio )

Actif aux platines depuis 1993, Membre du collectif de DJ’s HUPERKUT CREW crée en 1999.Dj, Beatmaker, Sound Designer (Télé/Court, Long métrage).

 

Ses influences et son univers musical : HIP HOP, REAGGAE/RAGGA DANCE HALL, SOUL, FUNK, JAZZ…

 

Dj Akil a développé sa culture hip-hop à travers son experience personnel et professionnel mais aussi en travaillant pendant 10 ans dans le plus grand disquaire parisien spécialisé dans ce domaine (Sound Records).

Il a son actif de nombreux projet de mixtapes ainsi que plusieurs collaborations sur différents albums et maxis/single (voir : "Music & Store" dans le menu ).
